Update….  

Dear Readership

By way of an update, after a period of silence; 

As a not-for-profit, independent, self funded publisher, it is hard sometimes for our personal circumstances not to inflect the limitations we have, on the work we do with Mousai.
Despite our best efforts to separate them. 

We are taking some time to recognise that our current financial and personal situations do not allow us to fulfil our work to the standards we require, so have made the difficult decision to delay the publication of our next intersecting issue;

We will be back with it as soon as we are able – hopefully with the same artists / writers we already have involved – and we encourage further submissions while we are away. 
We will also take time thinking about how to make this project and its aims more consistent and, importantly, sustainable.

Mousai has always had its focus on physical and printed media, and there are already plenty of high quality online publications, so perhaps this looks more toward collaboration, or collective methods of publishing; whilst always keeping our principals and values close to heart.
Those being to platform and publish the other. The occulted body. Those experiencing marginalisation and erasure.

To our peers fighting for similar causes, we welcome any feedback and collaborative efforts to keep these acts alive.
